Ahora que los consumidores le dedican menos tiempo al correo electr\u00f3nico y parecen m\u00e1s centrados en otras cosas, como las redes sociales&#8230; \u00bfO sigue siendo uno de esos elementos que, a pesar de tener una larga vida, siguen siendo efectivos?<\/p>\n<p>Lo cierto es que los \u00faltimos movimientos del mercado y los \u00faltimos estudios le dan bastantes argumentos a los que sostienen esta \u00faltima teor\u00eda. Por ejemplo, los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n est\u00e1n creando newsletters y apostando por ellos. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9? Porque son una manera de volver a controlar la conversaci\u00f3n. Especialmente ahora que las redes sociales les han puesto las cosas tan dif\u00edciles y est\u00e1n haciendo que se vuelva complicado que los contenidos lleguen a sus seguidores. En los newsletters, ellos controlan el cu\u00e1ndo y el qu\u00e9 se env\u00eda y, a pesar de lo que podr\u00eda pensarse a priori, los consumidores los est\u00e1n recibiendo con entusiasmo.<\/p>\n<p>De hecho, algunos medios est\u00e1n incluso innovando en el terreno, y probando cosas novedosas y diferentes. El <i>New York Times<\/i> acaba de lanzar un <a href=\"https:\/\/digiday.com\/media\/new-york-times-game-thrones-newsletter-already-60000-subscribers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">newsletter pop-up<\/a>, protagonizado por <b>Juego de Tronos<\/b>. El medio env\u00eda a sus suscriptores (61.000 en tres semanas) informaci\u00f3n relacionada con la serie. El ratio de apertura es a veces superior al 100% porque algunos de sus usuarios abren ese newsletter m\u00e1s de una vez. No es el primer newsletter pop-up que hicieron en el diario, aunque s\u00ed han conseguido con esto cifras hist\u00f3ricas de apertura.<\/p>\n<h3>\nSu atenci\u00f3n, por favor<\/h3>\n<p>Pero no solo el inter\u00e9s de los medios es un s\u00edntoma de que las cosas a\u00fan le van bien a los newsletters: tambi\u00e9n lo es el hecho de que los tiempos de atenci\u00f3n que consiguen sean todav\u00eda muy elevados.<\/p><div class=\"alear-contenido_2 alear-entity-placement\" id=\"alear-3437688334\"><div id=\"alear-3557904002\" style=\"margin-top: 15px;margin-bottom: 15px;\"><a href='https:\/\/collaborator.es?ref=x44a3s' title='\u0421ollaborator' target='_blank'><img src='https:\/\/collaborator.pro\/images\/referral\/promo\/es\/2.png' width='728' height='90' alt='\u0421ollaborator'\/><\/a><\/div><\/div>\n<p>Seg\u00fan un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marketingprofs.com\/chirp\/2017\/32433\/email-subscribers-attention-spans-are-iincreasing-yes-really-infographic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">estudio<\/a> realizado sobre miles de millones de emails por la compa\u00f1\u00eda <i>Litmus<\/i>, el tiempo de atenci\u00f3n que le prestamos a los newsletters ha ido en aumento. Seg\u00fan sus datos, en el 2011 prest\u00e1bamos una media de 10,4 segundos de atenci\u00f3n a los mails. En el 2016 ya estaba en 11,1, lo que supone un crecimiento positivo del 7%.<\/p>\n<p>Pero adem\u00e1s no solo ha crecido el tiempo en general, sino tambi\u00e9n el tiempo de calidad. El n\u00famero de receptores que simplemente lo mira y lo borra ha ca\u00eddo, mientras el de personas que lo leen (y que lo leen de verdad y no por encima) ha aumentado. Este dato es muy interesante, y quiz\u00e1s se pueda explicar mucho mejor si se piensa en c\u00f3mo leemos ahora estos contenidos.<\/p>\n<h3>El m\u00f3vil, factor clave<\/h3>\n<p>En los \u00faltimos tiempos, el uso de los dispositivos m\u00f3viles ha ido en progresivo aumento. Suele ser el primer espacio en el que vemos si tenemos correo. No esperamos a estar en nuestra computadora de escritorio para ver qu\u00e9 nos est\u00e1n diciendo, sino que entramos directamente a ver lo que ocurre desde nuestro m\u00f3vil. Y, para el mail, esas son buenas noticias: al m\u00f3vil le prestamos m\u00e1s atenci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan los datos del estudio, los usuarios de dispositivos m\u00f3viles les prestan m\u00e1s atenci\u00f3n a sus emails que los usuarios de computadoras y no menos, como se podr\u00eda pensar en un primer momento. La ventana de atenci\u00f3n de los mails en m\u00f3vil va progresivamente en aumento al tiempo que sube la cantidad de mails que abrimos en ese espacio.
